Had alot of time during the holidays to get a whole bunch of writing and concept work done, Between the Lines has taken a new direction and even though it has been in the works for awhile I was able to get alot of concept work done with what was formerly known as White-Ash, course that project was pretty much completely scraped besides some ideas and a few characters, course I wanted to change this due to the frustration of the huge convoluted story that it became(Had complete script outlines for the old version, might show it some day) and the fact that none of the species should so strongly resemble creatures on earth.
As you can tell Omni's look has barely changed, the only real difference being a new scar on her head(which has already changed in further concepts that I do not plan to post any time soon) but she is now the main character with an almost completely different background than before. At the top is what is known as a "Mystik" in the original they were supposed to be a very beautiful golden species that seemed to have a glow about them and I wanted to keep that, surprisingly i'm pretty happy with this first little sketch of a Mystik. Below are redesigned "White-Ash" who are now known as Akkavians, left to right Nova(Noadia), Akave(Akarabi), and June(Junavies) the Akkavians are still a work in progress, i've got them out of the "furry" realm now I just need to take it a little further to where I like it. Opposite of Omni is a starting point for a character called Elan of the Verbae, Elan has already been dramatically changed from what is seen up there.
Created this wonderful playlist for when I work on this project that really evokes the feel.
